Masjid Sulayman Bin Dawud

Masjid Sulayman Bin Dawud, which translates to “The Mosque of Solomon, Son of David”, based on 196 York Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 8LE, was formerly a Pub (The York). It was purchased in May 2021 as a place of worship, a Masjid (no Masjid facility for the large Muslim community in the area) and a community hub, with a dedicated Youth Centre and Funeral Services facilities.

[Qur’an; Chapter 61: Verse 6] 

Allah says: “And (remember) when ‘Ēsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: ‘O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming the Tawraah [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.’ But when he (Ahmad, i.e. Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said: ‘This is plain magic’
