Masjids

The motto of ArRahma Foundation is “Worship | Educate | Serve” and one of its key objectives as listed on its Charities Governing Document is “provision of facilities for congregational worship”. Also, its Mission statement states “To establish mosques as dynamic centres of the community, delivering not just services of worship, but also grassroots education and community projects and thereby make a positive and meaningful contribution to society.”

ArRahma Foundation views the Islamic place of worship, the Masjid (pl Masaajid), as a primary religious institution as well as a community hub. An Institution, that, throughout Islamic history, has played a significant role in community building through building excellence in worship along with education programmes and community services, for all sections of the local and wider society.
