AIAI is a specialist Qur’an institute, a project of the charity, ArRahma Foundation, based in Birmingham. It is one of the key educational projects of ArRahma Foundation.
It caters for the study of Qurān recitation with Tajweed and the preserved 10 authentically transmitted modes of recitations going back to the noble Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam, including, annual and intensive courses on famous elementary to advanced ‘Ilm at-Tajweed texts (Matn Tuhfah al-Atfaal and Matn al-Muqammah al-Jazariyyah) and texts on ‘Ilm al-Qira’aat (Matn ash-Shatibiyyah and Matn ad-Durrah). The specialist courses are run throughout the year across three clearly defined terms. Intensive courses are also conducted in the Winter, Spring and Summer holidays.
AIAI was established in September 2019.
Also, 1-2-1 thirty minute tuition and recitation sessions are arranged directly with the Instructors, on-site or online, throughout the year. The students have been complete newbies to advanced reciters, many of whom have already been awarded with a chain (sanad) in a number of modes of recitation.
Every year hundreds of students benefit from the annual and holidays intensive courses and the 1-2-1 Ijāzah programmes from across the UK and abroad.
The Institute is fortunate to be blessed with highly qualified Instructors, particularly, Shaykh Galal Yahya Salem, who assumed the Principal Instructor role, since its inception.
